What's wrong with Ash not appearing with him in a project Goh is pursuing? Almost all the appearances Ash had with Project Mew were pretty much dead weight because as someone who isn't participating in it, he can't help or give advice. He's just a bystander. Which is why Goh allowed Ash to actually train so we get more quality content with his specialty in battling.

I mean I don't like Goh, so I felt without Ash we r gonna get another sh!t ep, but Garry saved the ep

Ash battled Articuno and Moltres alongside Goh and significantly helped him in fetching Volcarona's scales. Out of the 5 trial missions we saw before this episode, Ash has been instrumental in 3, was specifically barred from participating in 1 (the survival trial mission on the ship) and only was largely a bystander in the last one (Goh captured Kingdra on his own).

To actually correct you on that, it's more on the later missions that he was banned from participating. So I'm guessing he was let a pass to help Goh in the earlier missions and when Goh raises in the ranks, Ash isn't allowed to help him. So it goes back to my point, what's the point in Ash being there for this mission? Tsurugi would just ban him from participating since it's their last trial mission to test out the participant's strength and prove themselves worthy for the Chaser status so it's pretty obvious that Ash wouldn't be able to help. So to use that time more wisely, it would be better if Ash actually used it more efficiently to train his Pokemon for the tournament.

Mew is evenly matched with Mewtwo.

well it doesn't revolve around a rng catching mechanic for one so you can typically catch something in the anime if we weaken it enough.

Hells yeah I love that the dynamic between Goh and Gary has improved so well, they really have come far! Love that we got to see Regileki and Regidrago, and I am totally fine that Goh caught one of them.

yeah true, chances are high that we will get a bunch of specials at some point after this anime is over, but I really wanna know when we will get to Sword and Shield post game? Cause I want to see Ash and Goh catch the legendary doggos.
